As the 2024 Featured Quilter, Nancy’s body of work will be on display. She has been a PVP member for over 10 years, serving as treasurer for 6 years and assisting the club in other positions. Nancy’s awards include: National Association of Certified Judges Award of Merit and 1st in Mixed Techniques, in the 2022 show
Nancy focuses on hand wool and/or cotton applique for her quilt projects. She hand embellishes the wool projects with threads. The quilt with the black background was based on Sue Spargo’s ‘Fresh Cut’ pattern; the quilt is hand wool applique and embellished with various ranges of threads.

2022 Quilt Show Winners
Donna’s quilt (left) was was based on ”Magical Medallions” by Karen K. Buckley. She redesigned the center medallion and created the border. It is 84” x 84” and is needle turn appliquéd and machine pieced. Donna quilted it on her long arm.
Jodi (right) used turned edge machine and hand applique. The details in the quilt were thread painted, and the remainder was free motion quilted. For the background she used a commercial fabric. The quilt was designed by Jodi based on a photograph by John Berryman, used with permission
