2022 "Keepsakes from the Heart" PVP Quilt Show

The 2022 Raffle Quilt  is “Bouquets for a New Day.”

“Bouquets for a New Day” is the raffle quilt for the the 2022 Quilt Show. Pictured are some of the members involved in the creation of this beautiful quilt, left to right, Janet McKamy, Linda Gagnon, Isabelle Margeson, Phyllis Samuelson, Carrie Linder, Patty Reichelt and Stephanie Quick.  Proceeds from the raffle support PVP’s “Quilts for Causes” program. There are two groups in this program. The “Shelter Group” makes 20-25 quilts a month for the New Life Center shelter for domestic abuse victims. The “Honor Quilts” group makes quilts to honor local combat veterans for their service.  Both groups will have displays of their work at the show. Tickets will be on sale during the quilt show.

Carlyn McManus, Palo Verde Patchers’ 2022 Featured Quilter, will be displaying a special collection of her quilt creations. She will be on hand to answer questions and to tell the story of her quilting journey.

Time:  9:00 a.m. — 4:00 p.m. each day.

Calling all members – show off your quilting skills by entering your masterpiece in this year’s show. Click HERE to download an entry form.

Have something to sell?  Anything quilted or quilting related can be displayed in our boutique.  Click HERE to download an entry form.

Quilted items for the boutique must have been made by a guild member and can be bed quilts, wall hangings, table runners – anything imaginable as long as it has been quilted.  Click HERE for guidelines on the submission process and guidelines.

We have a new display system for this year’s show so the sleeve and label instructions have changed and can be found HERE.

A quilt label custom designed for this year’s show can be found HERE.

Please put your quilt into a pillowcase when you bring it for hanging to keep it clean.  Instructions for labeling your pillowcase can be found HERE.

Quilts submitted for judging will be grouped into 11 categories which can be found HERE.  Quilts may also be shown as ‘display only’ and will not be considered by the judges.

The deadline for entering a quilt is December 30th. Members will be in the guild room to accept your submission on THESE dates.
